1. Who We Are

ARK Electric OS provides the ARK Electric Technician App — a mobile application used by field technicians to manage job assignments, navigate to job sites, document work with photos, and track materials. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

2. What Data We Collect

a) Account Information

When you sign in, we collect your email address and use it to authenticate your identity. We do not collect passwords in plain text — authentication is handled securely through Supabase.

b) Location Data

With your permission, we access your device's GPS location for two purposes:

• To display your position on the job map so you can navigate to assigned job sites
• To show your proximity to scheduled jobs

We do not continuously track your location in the background beyond what is needed for active use of the Map screen.

c) Camera and Photos

With your permission, we access your device's camera and photo library so you can:

• Take photos at job sites to document completed work
• Select photos from your library to attach to a job

Photos you capture are uploaded to secure cloud storage and associated with the specific job record.

d) Job and Work Data

We collect information you enter while using the app, including:

• Job status updates (arrived, in progress, completed)
• Notes you add to a job
• Materials you log (name, quantity, cost)
• Timestamps of status changes

e) Device Information

We may collect basic device information (operating system, app version) for the purpose of troubleshooting errors. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Who Can See Your Data

Your employer (the business that uses ARK Electric OS) can see:

• Your job status updates and completion records
• Notes and materials you log on jobs
• Photos you attach to job records

ARK Electric OS can see data for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

Third-party services we use:

• Supabase — cloud database and file storage (data stored on secure servers)
• Expo / React Native — the framework powering the app

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

Job records, photos, and work logs are retained for as long as your employer's account is active on ARK Electric OS. If your employer cancels their account, data may be deleted within 90 days.

You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at centerpointhub8@gmail.com.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your personal data
• Object to certain uses of your data

If you are located in California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission
• Secure authentication handled by Supabase Auth
• Cloud storage with access controls restricting who can view uploaded photos

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for use by adult employees and contractors only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
